Leading up to the drama Yukan Club (aring October 16) I will post mini-updates every once in a while on this blog because I’m THAT excited about it. Well then, today I HAS A TRAILER FOR YOU and a RUMORED CAST LIST TOO! -explodes-
(Ah, btw, some of this information is *rumored* i.e found on 2ch, forums etc so don’t kill me if it’s all wrong)
If you don’t know of Yukan Club yet, it is based on a popular shoujo manga of the same name and the plot is a comedy revolving around six wealthy and popular high school students who solve mysteries and in their free time, amuse themselves lavishly. I myself haven’t read the manga but it’s interesting.
Pretty much the only confirmed cast as of yet is Akanishi who will be playing Miroku Shocikubai, son of an important police official, but hangs out with yakuzas, like to invent weird gadgets.
The manga character has pink hair but Jin didn’t dye it pink, OH WHY JENNIFER JIN! I would have loved to see him with pink hair, meh, his haircut for the show is better than his long black hair but they could’ve at least added a little red or something in there.
The *rumored* (i.e unofficial) cast so far (with corresponding hair colour too) are:
Minami as Yuri Kenbishi, a sports lover, daughter of the Kenbishi Group
Kashii Yu (MBMH) as Noriko Hakushika, a truetype traditional Japanese woman
Taguchi Junno (KAT-TUN, Hanayome to Papa) as Granmarie Bido, half Japanese, son of Swiss ambassador
Yokoyama Yu (K8, Haikei, Chichiue-sama) as Seishiro Kikumasamune, Noriko’s neighbor, son of a hospital owner
Suzuki Emi (GalCir) as Karen Kizakura, a lively character, daughter of a jewelry businesswoman
Three JE as the main males? AHDLAHKLD -dies- I’m more excited over Junno than Jin actually, Yoko is meh to me. MAYBE they’ll do another Shuji to Akira thing! Idk, Yoko seems more suitable for a half Japanese role than Junno does.

As for the female roles, they couldv’e chosen younger looking ones, Kashii Yu was a teacher in MBMH and she’s going to be a student now? And the other girl, Minami is a new actress so I don’t have much to say about her, Suzuki Emi is pretty though, best fit for the girls.
